Grayhill 79 Series Thru-Hole DIP Switches
The 79 series comes in two different forms; 79A offers linear action circuit selection and the 79C offers linear action tap. User can select either 10 or 16 positions in both options.
The circuit selection type has a single isolated circuit for each position which connects the two terminals across the switch package.
The tap switches have all the contacts on one side of the switch internally bussed for a common pole. This means any terminal on that side can be used as a common terminal and the rest can be clipped.
Both versions have a non-shorting movable contact.
