Felt Sheets

What are Felt Sheets?
Felt sheets can also be known as pressed felt, technical felt, industrial felt, fulled felt or woolfelt.
It is made by matting, condensing and pressing fibres together. It can be made from natural or synthetic fibres. They are measured by density in grams per cubic centimetre.
Why use felt sheets?
• Can be soft like lamb’s wool or as hard as wood.
• It has many different uses
• Can be cut easily
• Good durability
Typical Applications
• For insulation when to retain heat and absorb liquids
• For making gaskets to seal
• For reducing noise transfer and for absorbing noise
• For filtering dust or carbon
• For preventing vibration
