Shim Kits

Shims or spacers, can be used in almost any application to space off two materials for adjustment or while drying. Often used in building applications to ensure accuracy, the small typically tapered piece can be made of metal or plastic depending on the application and can be either temporary or permanent. Shims kits offer a range of sizes that can be used alone or stacked to fit almost any application. Shims are typically in either strip or horseshoe form, horseshoe shims are ideal for fitting around existing mounts, screws or nails whereas strip or sheet shims are for suitable for cutting to size for less specific applications.
