TE Connectivity HDSC Sealed MCP 2.8 Tab Housings
A range of Heavy Duty Sealed Connector Series (HDSCS) plug style housings for use in the automotive industry. The HDSCS range uses the MCP 2.8 tabs as a contact system. These HDSCS connectors have integral secondary locking, various polarization keyings, low mating force and a slide locking mechanism.

HDSCS connectors for use in commercial and off-road vehicles applications. These HDSCS automotive connectors have rugged thermoplastic housings and are designed to withstand tough and harsh environments and high levels of vibration. The sealing provides IP67 protection against dust and water. This robust construction ensures high performance, reliability and long-term use. These HDSCS automotive connectors can be used for wire to wire or wire to device applications. The HDSCS connector housings are available in 5 different sizes from 2 to 18 ways and accept AMP MCP 1.5K, AMP MCP 2.8 or AMP MCP 6.3/4.8K receptacle or tab contacts.
