The RS PRO Banana Sockets are mainly used for electronics or electrical products to connect cables. The 4mm reference is the size of the hole that receives the plug connector. They are perfect for custom power supply projects, enclosure units, modifications, or repairs to worn or broken sockets. These female socket connectors mate with the popular 4 mm shrouded or unshrouded banana plug and wire. They have a shrouded female socket at one end with nickel, tin-plated contacts, an M12 x 0.75 threaded body, and a 4.8 mm Faston tag at the other. Supplied with nut & washer.
