ECWFE Series
The ECWFE series from Panasonic are metallised polypropylene film capacitors. These film capacitors are Compact and feature a flame retardant case with non-combustible epoxy resin. With a Durable and robust boxed exterior, these film capacitors are far more capable of withstanding vibration than standard dipped capacitors. With built-in fuse functionality, ECWFE capacitors will not short circuit, but open upon failure. The use of a polypropylene dielectric material ensures better electrical characteristics than a polyester dielectric.

Product Application Information
ECWFE film capacitors are recommended for use in high frequency circuits, high current circuits and Active filter circuits. ECWFE polypropylene capacitors are designed for use in the industrial automation, IT and alternative energy industries. Suitable applications include power supplies, PFC, servers and automation equipment where vibration is a concern.
