EFM32 Jade Gecko Microcontroller Family, Silicon Labs

The Silicon Labs EFM32 Jade Gecko Microcontrollers feature a powerful 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 Core. They offer a wide array of peripherals and in particular their unique cryptographic hardware engine supporting AES, ECC, and SHA.

With low current active mode and short wake-up times, Jade Gecko Microcontrollers are perfect for battery powered applications and other low energy systems.

For systems requiring floating point calculations, there is the Pearl Gecko Family with an ARM Cortex M4 Core. Both Jade and Pearl Gecko Microcontroller families use the same development kit (SLSTK3401A, RS 922-4814).
