Analog Devices ADALM2000 PC-based USB Oscilloscope Module

The Analog Devices ADALM2000 Active Learning Module is a USB-powered software-defined instrument intended to work with Analog Devices' ’Scopy’ graphical application software running on a PC. The module provides the user with several high performance instrumentation options including a 2-channel oscilloscope function, 2-channel arbitrary function generator, logic analyser and spectrum analyser. The ADALM2000 is completely self-contained and entirely USB powered with the default firmware.

• Two-channel USB digital oscilloscope
• Two-channel arbitrary function generator
• 16-channel digital logic analyser
• 16-channel pattern generator
• 16-channel virtual digital I/O
• Spectrum Analyser with power spectrum and spectral measurements
• Network analyser providing Bode, Nyquist and Nichols transfer diagrams
• Digital Bus Analysers (SPI, I²C, UART, Parallel)
• Two input/output digital trigger signals for linking multiple instruments (3.3V CMOS)
• Single channel voltmeter (AC, DC, ±20V)
• Two programmable power supplies (0 to +5V and 0 to -5V)

Being several instruments in one small unit, PC-based oscilloscopes are lighter and more portable than traditional test equipment. A field engineer can thereby carry a complete electronics lab loaded onto a notebook computer.
