TEMT7000 and TEMT7100 Series Phototransistors


The TEMT7000 and TEMT7100 series, from Vishay Semiconductor, are NPN epitaxial planar phototransistors. They come in surface mount (SMD) packages with the indutry standard 0805 footprint. The TEMT7100 series have a black plastic package which enables a daylight blocking filter.

Both series are ideal for use as detectors in automotive applications. The TEMT7000 series are ideal for applications including light and radiation sensors. The TEMT7100 are suitable for photo interrupters, miniature switches, counters, encoders and position sensors.
