MAX6684 Fan Failure Detector with Integrated Power Switch, Maxim Integrated

The MAX6684 works to detect any excessive underspeed or a locked rotor in a 2-Wire fan by looking at any fluctuations in current that are present at the low side of a fan.

FAIL, is an active-low logic output, open-drain alarm
