The thread NO-GO ring gauge must not screw into the part by hand more than two threads (without using excessive force). If the ring gauge can be screwed into the thread by more than two threads, the thread does not meet the desired requirements (=scrap). The no-go thread gauges are marked in red. The reference temperature for parts and gauges is 20° Celsius. Calibrated at a measurement laboratory separate from VÖLKEL using IAC thread scanners.
