This RS PRO carbon steel rope clamp, also known as a wire rope clip or grip, is designed to hold a rope with a diameter of 5 mm. You can use it to form a secure load-bearing eye on a length of wire rope by looping the wire around and clamping it down to secure the wire in place.

The clamp consists of a U-shaped bolt made from galvanised steel and a bridge secured by two nuts. Galvanised steel is exceptionally strong, creating a durable and dependable clamp that's unlikely to wear or break. It's also resistant to abrasion so you can safely use it with wire rope. The steel is shock absorbent and easy to inspect for damage, offering you peace of mind when using it.
