Looking to make your own test leads, then RS PRO has the perfect addition in the 4 mm banana plug. This nickel plated plug is the ideal solution for making test leads to your specification. Upon inspection, the plug connector offers a centre contact made from high grade nickel-plated brass with a shunt termination method. It comes supplied with two M4 fixing nuts.

There are many variations of banana plug connectors so it’s important to have a variety of cable leads of various lengths especially if you frequently use multimeters, voltage meters, or oscilloscopes.
