The Power Integrations DPA424R-TL is a Highly Integrated DC-DC Converter for PoE applications and applications involving Telecom DC-DC applications. This design integrates 220V power MOSFET design with PWM control. As the device integrates a lot of external circuitry in a single CMOS chip, designs with these chips become very cost effective.

Used for PoE applications, VoIP phones, WLAN, security cameras

Has a built-in auto-restart for output overload/open loop protection

Has a hysteretic thermal shutdown for automatic fault recovery
