It provides your live wires with an earth connection that discharges their remaining current, eliminating the risk of electric shocks. The device supports one pair of wires with cross-sectional areas between 0.2 and 4mm² for compatibility with many common industrial appliances.
The block uses simple screw termination to provide a secure power connection between your devices. As it doesn't join your conductors permanently, you can easily adjust or maintain your wiring just by loosening then retightening the screws. Polyamide housing insulates your circuit against overcurrents to ensure the safety of you and your system. As you can mount it onto both 32 and 35mm-wide DIN rails, this unit offers flexible installation options.
