3M™ Peltor™ Optime™ III Ear Defenders, 35 dB

The 3M™ Peltor™ Optime ™ III ear defenders are specifically designed for heavy noise as they combine effective protection with the ultimate comfort. The soft wide cushions are made from a foam that has great energy absorption and improved comfort. The safety of the Optime ™ III is based on the innovative double cup technology, which minimizes resonance inside the capsule and provides maximum high-frequency insulation.

High Performance

These high-performance ear defenders have an SNR (single number rating) of 35 decibels (dB) offering exceptional value in maintaining safety in extreme noise environments. These figures are achieved when correctly selected and worn to help reduce exposure to hazardous levels of noise. The generous space in the capsule interior ensures minimization of heat and moisture development.

Rugged Design

The Peltor ™ Optime ™ III earmuffs are ruggedly built to cope with everyday wear and tear in harsh environments. The neck bracket is variably adjustable and adapts perfectly to any head shape thanks to the ergonomic shape.

Why are ear defenders necessary?

Hearing protection is designed to protect the user from extreme noise levels. The padding of the cushion is made from a type of acoustic foam that absorbs the waves to stop them from reaching the eardrum. Some everyday tasks can damage your hearing and can have a catastrophic effect. So it's important to protect yourself of task/activities such as mowing the lawn.
