The loud sound output of up to 113dB (decibels) at 1m means it's easy to hear in noisy work areas. It offers a choice of 60 different tones, making it a versatile choice. For durability, its glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) housing is resistant to impact and high temperatures. This unit comes with a mounting bracket for quick and simple installation. As the bracket is made of stainless steel, it's resistant to corrosion and wear for long-lasting performance.

How do I choose a tone for the sounder?

This device features three dual in-line package (DIP) switches that let you adjust the tone using 6-bit binary codes from the included tone table. You can also control the volume using the potentiometer on its printed circuit board (PCB).

Explosion Proof Sounder, SD125 & SD150 Series

These electronic sounders have been approved for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, hazardous areas and very harsh environmental conditions.

Typical applications are Oil and Gas, On-shore & Offshore, Chemical, Petrochemical, Refineries & Marine locations, etc.

The sounder incorporates a three stage alarm option with sixty three tones to choose from which includes four tones that can be recorded or customised by the installer. All tones can be pre-set during installation.

The design of these alarm sounders allow for termination inside the enclosure. Both the SD125 & SD150 are supplied with a stainless steel mounting bracket as standard.
