RS PRO 30 μF Polypropylene Capacitor PP 440 V AC ±10% Tolerance Screw Mount


These polypropylene capacitors (PP) from the RS PRO range are energy-storing components that can be used in a wide range of electronic devices. They store energy as an electrical charge, which can be released much faster than by a battery.

The film in these capacitors has been metallised, which makes them suitable for use with alternating current. Metallised film also has excellent self-healing properties, ensuring a longer, more reliable service life with a low average failure rate. They’re fitted with screw-type terminals, so there’s no need for soldering.

Each capacitor comes in a non-flammable plastic case which meets the UL (Underwriter Laboratories) specification UL94V0. They’re also RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant, meaning they contain only trace amounts of hazardous substances. They’re particularly suited for motor start and motor-run applications and can be found in domestic appliances and office machinery.
