RS PRO Polypropylene Film Capacitor


Highly reliable Polypropylene film capacitor designed for permanent connection in the auxiliary windings of single-phase induction motors and for use with star connected three phase motors operating in a single-phase supply.

The polypropylene film element of these motor run capacitors is encapsulated in a flame-retardant resin inside self-extinguishing plastic, and all housed in an Aluminium case.

Utilising metallised film, the capacitor has excellent self-healing properties. Designed for stud mounting and particularly suited to AC, typical applications include domestic appliances.
