MCP1630 Boost Mode LED Driver Demo Board

The MCP1630 Boost Mode LED Driver Demo Board is a step-up, switch-mode, dc-dc converter used for power LED applications. The demo board provides a 350mA or 700mA constant current source with jumper selection. The operating supply is 9Vdc to 16Vdc and the board can supply 30W to a string of power LEDs.

High efficiency over entire operating input voltage range
Selectable 350mA or 700mA output current
Up to 30W output power
Optional software dimming control
500 kHz switching frequency can be changed in firmware
Additional application functions can be provided in firmware
