RS PRO 6082-T6 Aluminum Round Bar, 12 mm x 1 m


Use this round metal bar from the RS PRO range in indoor and outdoor projects across the construction and manufacturing industries. The 6082-T6 aluminium bar is corrosion-resistant and resistant to the effects of air, water and heat. Ideal for high-stress situations, the metal rod can bear a large amount of weight but is still lightweight.

Made from the medium-strength 6082-T6 aluminium alloy – the strongest of the 6000 alloy series, this metal rod is often used in bridge construction, for trusses and cranes. With a tensile strength of 295 MPa, it can resist large amounts of stress before it will expand, bend or break. To make the aluminium rod the correct shape for your requirements, it just needs to be heat treated.
