RS PRO aluminium square bars are ideal for use in highly stressed applications like in the construction of trusses, bridges and cranes. Graded 6082-T6, the metal bar is perfect for machining, welding and drilling works.

This metre-long metal bar is formed as a solid square and has sides of 30 mm. It has a tensile strength of 310 MPa that considerably enhances its durability. The superior quality aluminium alloy construction means it offers excellent resistance to corrosion as well. As part of the RS PRO series, the product is stringently tested for quality and consistency.

The metal bar is packaged and handled in controlled facilities and complies with ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 Electrostatic Control Standards for preventing damage from electrostatic discharge. A thermal conductivity rating of 180 W/mK means the bars make for a great choice in automotive, transport and moulding die settings.
