The Microchip Technology ATMEGA family type, TQFP package, surface mount, 44-pin CMOS-processor 8-bit microcontroller. It has a maximum voltage rating of 5.5V. The microcontroller operates at a maximum speed of 20MHz and features 64kb ISP flash program memory, 4kb of internal SRAM and 2kb of EEPROM. It has a real-time counter, PWM, 8-channel 10-bit A/D converter and a watchdog timer (WDT). By executing powerful instructions in a single clock cycle, it achieves throughputs approaching 1MIPS per MHz allowing the system to optimize power consumption versus processing speed.
