These incremental encoders feature a hollow shaft (through-bore), making them ideal for mounting to a motor shaft. This allows them to be installed much easier than shafted encoders, as there is no need for a coupling. This robust industrial standard encoder features housing cap diecast aluminium, with particularly eco-friendly powder coating offering excellent durability and corrosion resistance and includes an IP65 rating ensuring protection from dust and moisture. This rotary encoder produces 500 PPR (pulses per revolution), utilising 2 ball precision bearings and is ideal for use in a variety of industrial automation applications.
