Four different basic devices can be expanded by 5 I/O expansion adapters to up to 28 I/Os. Four digital 24V DC inputs with two integrated 1KHz counters, 4 digital 240V AC/DC inputs, 4 relay, 4 transistor and 2 analogue outputs
Expanded communication options
The second communication interface enables communication with other automation components. In addition to remote maintenance via modem, it is now also possible to send SMS  messages to a mobile phone, e-mails to a PC and even faxes

The ALPHA has been designed to fill the void between such items as timers, relay modules that can handle simple tasks, and PLCs which are capable of handling complex operations.
