Accurately detect the piston position on your double-acting cylinders with this electronic proximity sensor from Festo. It detects the field of a magnet that's integrated into the cylinder piston. The sensor is mounted onto the pneumatic cylinder’s body and indicates 'on' or 'off' based on proximity to the magnet. It has a yellow light-emitting diode (LED) indicator that lights up when in operation, making it easy to know when it detects the piston.
