RS PRO 5/2 Pneumatic Solenoid Valve - Solenoid/Spring, G 1/8 MDS Series, 24 V DC
This RS PRO solenoid valve allows you to turn airflow on or off with an electrical signal, removing the need for pneumatic or manual control. The internal solenoid coil will automatically open or close the valve when you apply a current to it, reducing the risk of operational errors and streamlining valve control.
This unit is freestanding, giving you flexibility in where you install it, as the component doesn't rely on the rest of the pneumatic structure for support. The five-port, two-position valve configuration allows airflow in one direction while keeping one available for exhaust.
The valve has Atmosphere Explosive (ATEX) approval, meaning it's intrinsically safe and won't ever create a spark or heat up to an ignition temperature. This means you can safely use it in areas with potentially explosive atmospheres.
