The Ifm electronic Protective cap is specifically designed for use with DEUTSCH connectors, ensuring optimal performance under extreme operating conditions. It can operate within an ambient temperature range of 40°C to 85°C and is protected by an IP68 rating, which provides complete protection against dust ingress and allows for continuous submersion in water. Weighing 66 grams, the component is constructed from PA (polyamide), both as the primary material and for the moulded body, chosen for its durability and resistance to harsh environmental factors.
