Use this expansion module from Siemens to ensure that your PC (personal computer) data is safely backed up in the event of a system power failure. It’s designed to be used with a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) to ensure the rapid and safe shutdown of applications. The unit has 24V power-buffering capabilities to give your system a few minutes of backup time. Two fitted switches allow you to define the stored energy time and switch your circuit on and off for system repair. You can install this device in tight spaces thanks to its compact dimensions of 70 (W) x 125 (L) x 125mm (D).
• Integrated USB interface enables simple installation into your PC system, either inside your control cabinet or outside in a distributed configuration
• Wide operating temperature range between 0°C and +60°C for use in harsh environments
• Four diagnostic LED lights for easy system status indication and monitoring
• IP20 (ingress protection) rating assures protection against damage caused by dust
