Use this diode redundancy module from Phoenix Contact to increase the performance of your power supply units (PSUs) or completely isolate them from one another. As it decouples and isolates parallel-switched units, it prevents short circuits from affecting the load by checking the wiring that runs from the supply to the diode. This ensures high power availability to prevent unnecessary productivity downtimes, which is essential to operational safety and the prevention of electric shocks and fires.

The module automatically takes over entire loads to provide an uninterrupted power supply in the event of failures. It lets you consistently monitor and quickly detect a loss of redundancy thanks to the floating signal contact and LED display, which prevent production interruptions. This compact unit weighs just 370g, so it's easy to handle and install. Use it in systems that demand high operational reliability.

Phoenix Contact TRIO DIODE Redundancy Module


The din rail mounting, Trio Diode redundancy modules from Phoenix contact are designed to isolate parallel-switched PSU’s. Using the redundancy module prevents short circuits affecting the load by checking the wiring from the power supply to the diode.

Using the redundancy module, it is possible for two power supply units of the same type connected in parallel on the output side to increase performance or for redundancy to be 100% isolated from one another.
