From RawlPlug this is the R-RBp2 model of Rawlbolt expanding shield anchor plugs, the bolt projecting series ideal for use with cracked and non-cracked concrete. The RawlPlug Rawlbolt is the original mechanical anchor with all others produced after the Rawlbolt launch. The sleeve of the rawlbolt is expanding, in 3-pieces providing you with maximum safety and optimal load and can be used in any material. Various diameter of Rawlboth are available from M6 to M20 and the R-RBP2 is mainly for use in cracked and con-cracked concrete (ETA option 1), hollow core slabs, flooring blocks and ceramics. The RBP2 series is also recommended with applications that require resistance to fire. This mechanical shield anchor projecting bolt is truly all purpose making it one of the most popular projecting bolts available.

  • Drill a hole (have pre-drilled hole ready) ensure that it is the correct diameter and depth needed.

  • Clean out the drilled hole removing all debris and dust (important to thoroughly remove everything, use a blow pump).

  • Remove the nutbolt and washer.

  • Insert the anchor into the drilled hole and gently tap into the hole till it is flush with the surface.

  • Position the fixture over the projecting bolt.

  • Add the washer and nut, tighten the fixing carefully, only to the recommended torque.
