The Prowave Transceiver operates at a centre frequency of 40.0 ± 1.0 kHz with a bandwidth of 2.0 kHz. It achieves a minimum transmitting sound pressure level of 115 dB at this frequency, measured as 0 dB re 0.0002 μbar with 10 Vrms at a distance of 30 cm. Its receiving sensitivity is at 68 dB min. The nominal impedance is 1000 Ω, with a maximum ringing time of 1.2 ms. It features a capacitance of 2400 pF ± 20% at 1 kHz and supports a continuous maximum driving voltage of 20 Vrms, with a typical total beam angle of 85° at 6 dB.
