RS PRO 1/2 BSP Thermocouple Compression Fitting for Use with Thermocouple, 6mm Probe, RoHS Compliant Standard

This sliding thermocouple compression fitting is an RS PRO temperature sensor accessory. It's used to hold thermocouple probes firmly in place and its compression provides a tight seal. The product is suited to a thermocouple with a probe diameter of 6 mm and a connection size of 1/2 BSP (British Standard Pipe Thread).

You'll find the component has an outer compression nut and an inner compression ring. The male thread of the fitting screws into a thermowell before a probe is inserted at the length you need. Then, the compression nut is tightened to force the inner ring to compress around the probe, holding it securely. This sliding connector is suited to 6 mm smooth probes and is available in high-quality stainless steel or polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), a tough, non-flammable synthetic resin.
