Castle Sonus i, Class 2 Leq Sound Level Meter


The Castle SONUS i (GA216i) is a Class 2 sound level meter and is designed for industrial safety officers, safety managers and engineers, for compliance with the Control of Noise at Work regulations 2005. It is fully compliant with European and International standards. The SONUS i will provide all necessary sound measurement information for completing noise at work risk assessments.

'A' and 'C' frequency weighting (toggle)

Housed in tough, crack-resistant ABS plastic

The simultaneous measurement of LAeq and LCPeak makes the SONUS I ideal for measurements to The Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005, which requires both these measurements. The SONUS i can also measure the 'C' weighted Leq values, which can be used for hearing protection assessments to the regulations.

The Castle GA216i is designed for industrial safety officers, safety managers and engineers, for compliance with the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005. It will provide all necessary information for completing risk assessments. The feature-packed instrument is fully compliant with IEC 61672-1:2002 Class 2, IEC 60651: 1979 Type 2 and IEC 60804: 2001 Type 2. This meter gives simultaneous Leq (rms average) and peak measurement for assessments to the Noise at Work Regulations 1989 and general engineering applications.
