RS PRO Stainless-Steel Hexagon Straight Nipple Joint 1/2 in R(T) Male x 1/2 in R(T) Male, 1.89 in (L)
Connect two fittings in your plumbing or gas network with this straight nipple joint from RS PRO. This short pipe connects the fittings via male pipe threads at either end.
This plug has a stainless steel body for strength and resistance to high temperatures, mechanical damage and corrosion. The external tapered pipe thread makes it a good choice for use with high-pressure equipment.
The joint meets Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) standards, meaning it contains only trace amounts of any harmful materials. It also meets the ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) B16.11 specifications for fittings and pipework, so it's compatible with standardised parts. This type of stainless steel nipple joint is found in a range of environments, including natural gas and plumbing networks as well as chemical plants and oil refinery sites.
