Sibille PICOUP-250 is a professional, heavy-duty, hydraulic cable cutter designed for the most demanding professionals. It is a two-action tool that spikes cable to check and ensure the absence of voltage on LV and MV underground cables before cutting it. Robust construction and extremely powerful cutting mechanism integrated with remote control guarantee easy and safe operation even in the event of a live electrical wire being spiked. The PICOUP 250 Cutting blades / jaws are made of reinforced heat treated steel specifically engineered to cut cables of up to 100mm diameter. A narrow cutting head has been designed to allow an easy positioning between cables and features protective steel safety cover for extra safety of use. This tool enables the user to limit any resulting short circuit to a single-phase / ground fault when spiking multicore cables. This causes any protective devices to trip before a 2 or 3 phase fault can be created.
