This RS PRO 7.5 W plug-in power supply has a single DC output and comes with a two-pin, Type C plug that's suitable for European mains sockets. It's protected against overload and short circuits, and for greater safety it's double-insulated against electric shocks.

The unit has a centre positive output connector that works with many smaller electronic devices. To provide more choice when connecting to mains sockets, the supplied cable is 1.5 metres long.

As it meets the EU CoC (code of conduct) Version 5 Tier 2 standards for energy efficiency, the adapter uses little power when not connected to any equipment. You'll find this type of power supply in networking and communications, where it's often used to power devices such as tablets and smartphones.
