RS PRO Counterpart for Electro Magnets


These counterparts or armature plates from RS PRO are used for electromagnets to clamp onto and come with fixing holes that are compatible with both energise-to-hold and energise-to-release versions. Counterparts like these are used together with holding magnets in a wide range of magnetic locking systems, including security doors.

The armature plate is made from durable, nickel-plated steel. Nickel is not only corrosion-resistant, it also makes them more magnetic and stronger at holding the plates. Despite this strength, the counterparts are extremely compact and lightweight – this model measures just 30 mm in diameter and weighs a mere 30 g, making it only slightly bigger than a ten pence piece.

This quality RS PRO product is RoHS compliant as containing minimal amounts of hazardous substances. It also meets standards ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007, meaning it has been protected from electrostatic discharge during handling and packaging.
