What does shore hardness mean?

Shore hardness measures the hardness of a material and its resistance to denting. All shore hardness measurements consist of a letter from A (soft) to D (rigid) and a number from 0 to 100, with a higher number denoting more resistance to indentation. This air hose has a shore hardness of D 52, so it's reasonably rigid.

Note

Not approved for use in the food industry.
