RS PRO 47 μF Electrolytic Capacitor 350 V DC, Through Hole


This RS PRO general-purpose electrolytic capacitor uses electrolytes to store energy and to create electrostatic fields. As it's an axial-type capacitor, the leads are fitted at either end of its cap.

It's designed with a safety vent to release gas, preventing an explosion in the event of excessive voltage. It's easy to install as it's a through-hole component, meaning you can run its leads through holes in your printed circuit board (PCB). This is a secure way to install a capacitor, so you can be confident it will hold up well to environmental stress.

This product meets the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) requirements, which means that it's MADE with only minimal amounts of any harmful materials. You'll often find electrolytic capacitors like this one used for storing power in flash lamps or decoupling and preventing voltage fluctuations in filtering devices.
