Unlike traditional cable trunking, slotted halogen-free trunking is manufactured using materials that do not contain halogen compounds, making it safer for both personnel and the environment.

It also provides ventilation for the cables, allowing heat generated by the electrical currents flowing through them to dissipate more effectively.
