The TE Connectivity Connector Backshell Adapter is a rugged cable termination accessory designed to provide strain relief, environmental sealing, and EMI/RFI shielding in demanding applications. It features a straight body orientation and side-entry termination style, supporting efficient cable routing and secure mechanical coupling. Made from aluminum with cadmium plating, it offers corrosion resistance and long-term durability. The adapter is compatible with circular MIL-spec connectors and supports Tinel-Lock termination for overbraid shielding, making it ideal for aerospace, defense, and industrial systems.
Supports cable entry diameters from 0.2 to 6.4 millimeters
Operates across temperature range from –65°C to 175°C
Provides 500-hour salt spray resistance for harsh environments
Compatible with MIL-DTL-38999 Series III and IV connector specifications
Includes side-entry Tinel-Lock termination device for EMI shielding
