The STMicroelectronics Evaluation board is designed to drive a 3‑phase brushless DC motor up to 700 W, typically used in washing machine appliances. The circuit is divided into four main sections the control part, the compressor drive part, the auxiliary power supply circuit, and the communication circuit. At its core, the STM32G431CB MCU manages motor control, current/voltage/temperature sampling, communication, and protections against overcurrent, overvoltage, and overheating. The design integrates the STGIPQ8C60T‑HZ intelligent power module for the inverter bridge, the VIPER122 switching power supply controller for Compact and reliable auxiliary power, and an isolated single‑line half‑duplex communication circuit for seamless interaction with the washing machine control panel.
