This Siemens contactor enables the supply of large electrical current up to 400V AC to motors. It has a modular design that makes transport, manual handling and setup simple. For versatile use, you can install it with screws or snap-on clips with no need for special tools. As the unit has a compact width of 55mm, side by side mounting is also possible in tight settings. Install this contactor as a power relay in motorized mechanical installations.

What kind of contacts does this device use?


It has both main and auxiliary contacts that allow for multiple contact configurations. The main contact uses three NO (normally open) contacts for heavy current supply to the motor. The auxiliary contact uses one NO and one NC (normally close) and provides a relay function at a lower current rating.
