It's made of die-cast zinc, so it resists the impact and corrosion you'd expect in demanding environments. Integrated strain relief is on hand to protect attached wires from damage caused by twisting and bending. Thanks to pre-mounted locking screws and a catch spring mechanism, it's simple to install this backshell.
