RS PRO 9 Way Right Angle Through Hole D-Sub Connector Plug, 2.77 mm Pitch, With 4-40 UNC, Threaded Insert
This RS PRO female through-hole D-Sub connector plug with a solder bucket connection is commonly used in industrial and military applications. Its IDC (insulation displacement contact) type makes it suitable for making connections to ribbon or insulated cables.
Its robust steel shell is not only plated with tin but also housed in PET (polyethylene terephthalate). This allows connections to be sustained reliably without any electrical interference from external signals. The nine brass contacts on the female plug are gold-plated, which also ensures signals can be conducted steadily.
This D-Sub connector plug has a current rating of 5 A, a 350 V working voltage and can handle a contact resistance up to 30 mΩ. It has a right-angle design that means it mounts securely with its 4-40 UNC (unified coarse thread) inserts.
