Need an easy way to secure your data acquisition system to a rack cabinet? Pair up with this dual-flange multimeter mounting kit from Keysight Technologies. For flexibility, this nifty gadget is compatible with instruments from the DAQ970A (177-1175, 177-1176 and 177-1105) and DAQ973A (197-6845, 197-6847 and 197-6848) series. While it's typically used to fix a full-width device in place, you have the option to add a dual-lock link kit (250-6939), which allows you to mount two half-width systems side by side.

How do I prepare my equipment for mounting?

This kit is designed to make installation straightforward, but there are a couple of things to bear in mind. Any plastic trim or bottom feet on the equipment should be removed before attaching the flanges. As flanges alone won't support the full weight of your instrument, you also need to make sure you have the appropriate rails or slides in place.
