The TDK FS1404 is an easy-to-use, fully integrated and highly efficient micro-point-of -load (μPOL™) voltage regulator. The on-chip pulse-width modulation (PWM) controller and integrated MOSFETs, plus incorporated inductor and capacitors, result in an extremely compact and accurate regulator. The low-profile package is suitable for automated assembly using standard surface-mount equipment. Developed by a cross-functional engineering team, the design exemplifies best practice and uses class-leading technologies.

It supports plug and play and no external compensation is required
Programmable operation using the I2C serial bus(fast mode and fast mode plus)
It has a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 16V for 2.5V output voltage and 6 to 16V for 3.3V output voltage
Preset output voltage is 2.5V or 3.3V
Enabled input, programmable under-voltage lock-out (UVLO) circuit
