The sturdy socket features a robust, nickel-plated body that has high resistance to wear and tear for long working life. This plating is also highly unlikely to rust. Its acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) housing provides excellent electrical insulation to prevent accidental shocks. Silver-plated contacts withstand electrical arcing well, so the connector will not be affected by spikes in your electrical supply. The unit features two fixing holes for convenient mounting.
A connector like this is particularly well suited to an AT (Advanced Technology) keyboard, which is a standard model first introduced in the 1980s. Its push-lock plug connection is secure and highly reliable.
