RS PRO EPDM Black Edging Strip, 20 m x 40.7 mm x 5.4 mm
Use this edging strip from RS PRO to protect the sharp ends of metal sheeting. It acts as a shielding barrier by absorbing vibration to prevent damage and reduce wear on items such as machine and car door panels.
The strip is made from ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber which is extremely durable so stands up well to regular movement and abrasion without tearing. It has an embedded metal insert that offers extra force to hold the rubber strip in place. Its grooved profile means it's easy to fit by simply pressing it into place with your hand.
A seal like this one also finds use as a lining for container openings to prevent injury from sharp metal edges. This product is Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) compliant so contains only minimal levels of any harmful materials.
